Big Elk Lick Horse Camp
August 22nd – 28th, 2024
Located in the Allegheny Mountains.
Riding is done at the Elk State Forest. Miles of trails, primarily logging, gas and mining roads.
Horses need shoes to ride these trails.
Wild elk in the area.
Primitive or electric sites, shower house, communal kitchen. Cost $25/night.
Stalls available.

at Edison Woods Metroparks, Berlin Heights.

Erie County OHC Poker Run at Edison Woods Metroparks, Berlin Heights.
This is their fundraiser, fee to participate includes poker hand, lunch, and prizes.
Registration starts at 9 a.m. All riders need to be in by 2 p.m.
Camping is available on Friday after 2 p.m. and Saturday. Per Erie Metroparks:
If you are not an Erie County OHC member there is a $5 per person per night fee to Camp.

the sixth annual Spur for the Cure Benefit Horseback Trail Ride will return to Camp Manatoc Scout Reservation in Peninsula, OH.
Cost is $75/rider and includes your guided trail ride (approx. 2 hours), lunch, gifts and a ticket you can enter to win one of our amazing raffle prizes!
There is plenty of on-site parking for trucks and trailers.
All proceeds will be donated to Akron Children's Hospital to support pediatric cancer research.
Register before August 1 and save $25 per rider!
